Wilderness Out-Trips

Looking for something more...adventurous? Check out our out-trips!

Camp and COVID 19: There is no question that COVID 19 will once again impact our summer in some way.  The good news is that we now have a powerful tool to combat this pandemic, vaccines!  In summer 2022, all staff, campers, and volunteers will be required to submit proof of vaccination on arrival.  We continue to spend a lot of time thinking and planning for a safe summer camp program and are taking a cautious approach.  If you are interested in reading our plans as they stand right now, you can check our Camp and COVID 19 page.  If you have questions, please ask!

Out-Trips: Our Wilderness Out-trips take campers into some of the most amazing and beautiful places in Alberta. Our trips are ably led by qualified and credentialed staff who place a strong emphasis on safety in all activities. Valaqua provides group equipment (tents, stoves, canoes), specific gear needs will be relayed by our Out-trip Director in June.
