Hike-a-thon - June 10
Register for our Annual Fundraiser! Hike with us in person on June 10 at Powderface East Ridge, or hike when and where you like. Hikers receive a custom t-shirt and sticker from the event as well as a hot dog lunch and awards. Hikers who raise $250 or more receive a gift certificate to the retail establishment of their choosing. We will meet at the trailhead parking area at the end of Highway 66 by the turnoff for the Little Elbow Campground. We will start hiking at 10am!
The Hike-a-thon is our largest fundraiser of the year, and we are excited to have you help us reach our goal of $15,000 in donations. Sponsors can give by cheque or cash that you bring to the event or send to Valaqua, online at https://mcab.ca/valaqua and add your name in the message line, or by e-transferring our treasurer at treasurer@mcab.ca with your name in memo line. Hikers are encouraged to track donations on our online forms so that we can celebrate your accomplishment!
Garden Party - June 11
After a few years off, we are happy to invite you to our Spring Garden Party at Camp Valaqua on June 11! Join us for a worship service at 11am and stay for a meal together as we celebrate our little corner of God's Garden. Linger with us under the tall tall trees and participate in camp activities like climbing wall and archery after lunch.
